Preventive Measures to Avoid Falling If You Have Vertigo or Dizziness

- Use handrails, canes, or other means of support when walking.
- Wear flat shoes only.
- Avoid driving
- Avoid standing in high places.
- Remove clutter in your home to avoid tripping on something on the floor.

- Avoid staying hungry for long periods – especially if you have blood sugar problems.
